Giving birth 'didn't hurt at all' says model Gisele Bundchen
Not content with being gorgeous, statuesque, and back in her size 2 clothes about 3 seconds after giving birth, supermodel Gisele Bundchen now tells us that giving birth was pain free and didn't hurt in the slightest.
The model gave birth at home in her bathtub, shunned drugs and medicines, and coped with a mixture of meditation and hypnosis, calling the experience "tranquil"
While we're really pleased for her here at Little Sunflowers, we're a little jealous too - good looks, perfect body AND the perfect first birth? Some girls really do have it all!

My first birth was excruciating. I had an epidural, episiotomy and ventouse delivery.
I wanted to try something different for my second and did a hypnobirthing course. I was lucky, C was born after a 1hr15m labour at home. I can honestly say that for almost all of my labour I felt intense pressure rather than the crippling pain I'd experienced first time around. There were about 15 minutes in which I forgot my breathing that did hurt, but once I was back on track it was definitely copeable with again. I had an entirely natural labour, and am the biggest wuss on earth!
I know that birth is a lottery though and had my daughter not been in a perfect position no amount of hypnosis would have got her out without a fight. To that end I'm thankful, rather than smug, that I had such a great experience.
